Pastel Software SA, in an effort to spearhead its drive to offer business solutions that go way beyond the boundaries of conventional accounting and payroll software, will unveil its latest products at the Johannesburg Computer Faire.

"We will be presenting the new Pastel Accounting Version 6 to the public for the first time at the Computer Faire. Pastel Accounting Version 6 will supersede the award winning Pastel Partner V5 range. Pastel Accounting Version 6 is a 32-bit application that includes a wide new range of interface enhancements and product features such as multi-stores and MS Office integration. The new Pastel Accounting Version 6 will offer SME`s functionality that adds immense value to their business processes," says Corrigan.
Other new Pastel products to be showcased at the Computer Faire include:
Pastel Resolve, a powerful, comprehensive call management solution designed to track, manage and escalate day-to-day messages and incidents and ensure all calls within an organization are handled efficiently.
Pastel Fixed Assets V6, a program that provides a complete solution to managing fixed assets. Functionality includes depreciation and tax value calculations, reporting for financial statement purposes, asset valuation, and disposal and acquisition management;
EZeService for Pastel, a program that controls and integrates equipment maintenance and workshop procedures with online financial reporting; and
Pastel CreditPartner, an integrated credit vetting and assessment tool, in alliance with KreditInform, that accurately and proactively assesses credit risk.
The Pastel stand will form part of "Softline`s World of Accounting" in Windows World, Hall 3. It will also feature its on-line business-to-business and storefront web portal, PlanetPastel as well as its on-line training facility, PastelCampus. Daily presentations in the on-stand auditorium will feature leading speakers on a wide range of topics that will include new product demonstrations; the benefits of e-commerce for SME businesses and more.
