IDION Technology Holdings` subsidiary, Vision Solutions, a leading managed availability solutions provider, announced today that its Vision Suite software has been selected by Pechanga Resort and Casino to ensure the smooth operation of the resort and information availability on a 24/7 basis.
The Pechanga Resort and Casino is a first-class resort destination for more than 15 000 visitors a day. With a reputation built on providing world-class customer service, it is critical that Pechanga has all of its systems and applications up and running at all times. It selected Vision Suite through the company`s Vision Industry Partner (VIP) Inter-American Data for four key reasons: data integrity, ease of use, manageability and reliability. The solution ensures that in the event of planned or unplanned downtime, Pechanga can switch users to a backup machine that is always in synch and continue to operate smoothly and efficiently.

Pechanga took advantage of the Vision Suite Technical Education and Vision Suite Operator workshops and plans on taking additional classes in the future. These classes helped create a smooth transition from installation to implementation for the resort.
Pechanga runs all non-casino related applications on a primary and backup iSeries server. The solution needed to be integrated with a host of applications including Infinium, Lodging Management System (LMS) and IAD/Stratton Warren`s MMS400.
