Companies extend BPM to Latin America

A US and a South American collaboration seeks to provide key customers in Latin America with best practices in systems integration for BPM, reports Business Wire.

BPM company Savvion and Kernel Technologies Group, a software development firm in Mexico have teamed up in the venture.

Savvion's decision to with Kernel Technologies and expand operations into Latin America follows recent reports indicating that the Latin American economy is booming and expected to hit an average annual GDP growth of 4.8% through 2008. Analyst reports also show that IT spending will continue to grow in Latin America at significantly higher rates than in the US or Western Europe.

Software firm closes financing deal

US-based customer service software solutions company, Neocase Software, has raised $6.5 million in a second institutional round of funding, reports Business Wire.

The new capital will support the company's global expansion and help Neocase meet the growing US demand for its collaborative customer service solutions.

Neocase's focus is to increase the productivity and quality of customer service operations through collaboration, knowledge management, self-service, partner centres and advanced workflow management with strict adherence to service level agreements.
