PeopleSoft has been recognised by Information Systems Marketing (ISM), a CRM consulting firm, for its Vantive Enterprise 8.2 customer relationship management (CRM) suite of software. Vantive was named one of the top 15 "Software Selections for 2000" ISM.
"PeopleSoft is the only vendor recognised by ISM that offers a comprehensive, integrated solution for CRM, enterprise management, business intelligence, and e-commerce, all available through a browser-based thin client," explains Jan Coetzee, managing director of PeopleSoft SA.
According to Coetzee, the Vantive Enterprise 8.2 solution was selected from a host of CRM software packages that were tested at the US-based ISM software laboratory.
"Each package," says Coetzee, "was rated according to 124 selection criteria, including 80 business functions, 32 technical features and 12 user friendliness/support features. This distinction acknowledges PeopleSoft`s CRM suite as a comprehensive solution that helps companies drive revenue and efficiency, while improving customer retention."
PeopleSoft entered the global CRM market last year with the acquisition of Vantive, bringing well-known CRM solutions under the PeopleSoft banner.
