AXS-One Inc., (AMEX:AXO - news), a leading global provider of e-business solutions, today announced that Pfizer Inc has selected and begun a successful implementation of AXS-One`s AXS Desk Internet application for its user community.
Pfizer, a research-based pharmaceutical company with global operations, licensed AXS Desk to accelerate deployment of its financial software, and to cut costs in the areas of IT support and applications maintenance.
Pfizer, an AXS-One customer for more than five years, continued its support of AXS-One, and its e-Cellerator(TM) family of solutions by licensing the AXS Desk solution in second quarter 2000. The AXS Desk solution is extending the functionality of Pfizer`s existing investment in AXS-One financial and workflow applications. Pfizer has licensed AXS Desk for Pfizer users in selected global locations, providing a browser-based solution to access and exchange financial information via the Internet.
