Philips SA Projector division has introduced the Hopper 20 Series, aimed at the professional meeting room market.
The Hopper XG20 LCD projector offers the power user pinpoint XGA resolution while the Hopper SV20 is the value model to meet the needs of Microsoft PowerPoint presenters.
"The new Hopper is based on the same rugged design of previous models, but with improved brightness and picture performance," says Owen Patmore, sales manager, projectors at Philips SA. "The series also features over two million pixels resolution, a thousand ANSI lumens for even brightly-lit rooms and clear images, even under daylight conditions."
The Hopper 20 weighs 4.9kg and includes glass lenses for sharper picture quality, 1.3-times zoom lens, ceiling mount capability, a soft carry bag and 24-hour swap out.
The Philips Air System reduces the noise produced by the machine down to a mere 32dB, while keeping the exterior of the machine cool to the touch. "The XG20 delivers a thousand lumens at 85 percent homogeneity and develops no hotspots on the lamp during its 4 000-hour lifespan," says Patmore.
It supports PAL, NTSC and interfaces with either Mac or PC, so users can plug it in and turn it on without lengthy, arduous setup procedures.
