The local subsidiary of Dutch electronics giant Philips has expanded its bSure projector range with the announcement of two high specification Brilliance versions, the bSure XG2 and the SV2.
"With a brightness of 2000 and 2200 ANSI lumen, the projectors are well suited to both corporate and educational environments," says Tyrone Young, marketing manager: monitors and LCD projectors at Philips.
"With 500 - 700 ANSI lumen more than other projectors in the bSure series, the projectors are suitable for use in large rooms with long projection distances, or in classrooms or lecture halls that cannot be darkened easily."
Direct progressive and component input data and video signal quality indicates the bSure 2 series for use in applications that demand high image integrity, such as DVD and HDTV. This input is the standard for all digital sources and guarantees high picture quality without the use of additional cables.
"The bSure Brilliances series` picture quality is enhanced further with the incorporation of ColourTracking technology that automatically adjusts image settings to achieve natural colours or maximum brightness," says Young. The bSure Brilliance projectors are ideal for presenters who have never used a projector before, he adds. The plug and play connectivity, intuitive one-touch operations and straightforward on-screen menus make them very easy to use.
"Each bSure Brilliance projector is fitted with SecurityMax, an anti-theft system that includes a customisable, non-erasable start-up text to identify the owner, and a special shut down timer," says Young. "These features discourage thieves from stealing it but, as a further deterrent, there is also the option of fitting a Kensington lock to each projector."
With the introduction of the Brilliance series, available in a precision silver design, Philips is offering advanced display functionality in an affordable and low-maintenance package.
