As part of its initiative to offer world-class services and solutions to its resellers, Phoenix Software has partnered with Kaspersky Lab to provide an electronic software distribution (ESD) portal for localised digital distribution.
Access to the portal will be limited to Phoenix Software resellers and partners, and will provide access to the full range of Kaspersky Lab products.
"The portal will serve as a gateway to the most recent news, information, marketing materials and products for our resellers, and will allow them to purchase any Kaspersky Lab product, via ESD, for their customers," explains Anton Vukic, Channel Director at Phoenix Software. "All products and licence keys are delivered securely via e-mail immediately after purchase. This allows our resellers to go from order to delivery in a matter of minutes, 24 hours a day, seven days a week."
The ESD approach will allow resellers to purchase products in real-time, and transactions can be charged to an existing open credit line at Phoenix Software. This approach eliminates the need for a reseller to inventory software and offers a convenient means of purchasing 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
"This is a logical extension of our business and will become even more important over time as Internet bandwidth increases.
