Phoenix Software has announced that it has signed an exclusive agreement with CoolIT Systems, manufacturers of next-generation cooling products, to distribute the products in South Africa.
CoolIT Systems, a Canadian-based organisation, has already proven a huge success in the Americas, unveiling the world's first practical, efficient and versatile CPU cooling product to be based on liquid cooling.
“CoolIT has a winner on its hands with the Domino ALC; it's a great solution for use with AMD Black Edition processors,” said Ian McNaughton, Senior Marketing Manager, AMD. “The Domino ALC is lightweight, compact and affordable, a nice match for AMD users looking for the superior CPU cooling.”
The CoolIT Domino ALC was unveiled at CES, Las Vegas earlier this year, immediately bagging International CES Innovation award during the show. The Domino has since won over 40 awards worldwide for its outstanding performance, feature set and benefits, a feat liquid cooling has never seen before.
“The magic behind the Domino is that it appeals to a wide audience rather than being aimed solely at the computer enthusiast,” explained Geoff Lyon, CEO, CoolIT Systems “System integrators, professionals, home users and enthusiasts all stand to benefit from the Domino's innovative design.”
The Domino is a closed loop system, rated to run more than seven years with no degradation in performance or maintenance.
“We are very pleased to engage an experienced and effective team in South Africa through Phoenix Software to represent CoolIT on a European level,” remarked Lyon.
“Since launching Exspect (Wii and iPod accessories) in South Africa, we have seen immense success. This has led us into exploring other niche hardware opportunities, which tie into the burgeoning gaming market. For this reason, we sought out CoolIt, an innovative market leader in cooling systems, said Simon.
Phoenix Software has been appointed exclusive distributors for South Africa. “The Domino is already showing signs of huge potential,” added Jason Phillips, Sales Director, Phoenix Software “It's fantastic to see a fresh and innovative product hit the industry; we're extremely pleased to be working with CoolIT.”
Price and stock details will follow shortly for CoolIT's high-end product range, including the Freezone Elite and Boreas chillers, based on their patented MTEC technology. Recently, CoolIT also announced a takeover bid of Delphi Liquid Cooling Assets, reaffirming its position as the global leader in advanced liquid cooling for computers.
