Phoenix wins Kaspersky Retail Partner of the Year

Johannesburg, 19 Jun 2012

For the second year in a row, Phoenix Software has won Kaspersky Lab's Retail Partner of the Year award. The award was one of a number of accolades the security software giant presented at its recent Emerging Markets Partner Conference, held in Sicily, Italy.

Up against all distribution houses falling under the banner of Emerging Markets, including those in the Middle East, Latin America, the rest of Africa and Russia - Kaspersky's biggest territory, Phoenix Software's excellence in the retail sector was reflected in the award.

“We are very honoured to receive this award. The Partner Conference is a significant event for all the Kaspersky Lab channel partners, and we are pleased that our efforts on Kaspersky's behalf are bearing fruit. Our long-term partnership with Kaspersky Lab shows our level of commitment to its products, and the award is a clear indication of our success with the brand,” says Simon Campbell-Young, CEO of Phoenix Software.

“Kaspersky Lab was recently recognised as one of the 500 fastest growing technology companies from 24 EMEA countries, by Deloitte Technology Fast 500 EMEA,” says Vasily Dyagilev, Managing Director Emerging Markets at Kaspersky Lab. “Over the last five years, Kaspersky Lab has enjoyed very rapid expansion, and therefore it is important to partner with companies that understand our customer obligations and the impact of our products in the local market. Phoenix Software's commitment in the retail sector is evidence of this approach, and therefore this award recognised their achievements to supporting our brand in South Africa.”
