Relyant Retail is the first South African furniture retailer to contract for TRIAD, the leading account management system. This completes a trio of Durban-based users of this world-class credit risk management technology.
Relyant has commenced with the design and development of the TRIAD system, with a planned implementation in late 2002. PIC Solutions has been retained through a RiskMentor contract to conduct a range of consulting assignments to ensure that the payback from this investment in best practices is maximised, in terms of additional sales, business growth and improved profitability.

With the commencement of this TRIAD design project, Relyant joins two other Durban-based clients - Credcor, a member of the BoE Group, and Retail Apparel Group.
Credcor recently implemented TRIAD and in order to realise the benefits and expedite its return on investment. PIC Solutions was retained to conduct a Collections HealthCheck for this leading provider of dealer-introduced consumer finance.
The assignment focused on ensuring that the functionality and set-up of the Credcor collections system, coupled with the existing collections procedures, were aligned with the new TRIAD collections strategies. The review highlighted a number of areas for change that would ensure improved collections results, including operational process changes, systems modifications and revised monitoring and incentive programmes.

After only three months from taking delivery of their TRIAD system, Retail Apparel Group successfully implemented scoring and credit limit management strategies on their portfolio of accounts. This is one of the fastest TRIAD implementations on record.

Relyant completes a `golden triangle` of South African TRIAD users, as there are now three credit-granting organisations in each of the three major cities.
