PIC Solutions has been selected by Standard Bank, one of Africa`s leading banking groups, to develop behaviour scorecards for its credit card portfolio.
Behaviour scorecards support the ongoing strategic management of accounts within an organisation and provide a rank ordering of the accounts using the performance information selected. PIC Solutions will develop the new behaviour scorecards to replace Standard Bank`s existing scorecards.
In this turnkey analytical project, PIC Solutions` predictive modelling team will work closely with the bank`s risk management team to ensure the implementation and ongoing usage of the behaviour scorecards generate significantly improved results.
Douglas Walker, Director of Retail Credit at Standard Bank, states: "We look forward to working with PIC Solutions on this scoring assignment. Their experienced consultants understand our business operations and this will greatly aid in the customisation of the model`s design to our needs. The new behaviour scorecards will support the creation of dynamic strategies to effectively respond to changes in our card portfolio. Our card division will use the scorecards together with our account processing system to effectively manage the bank`s risk."
Eva Neves, Senior Consultant at PIC Solutions, adds: "PIC Solutions has extensive experience in developing robust models that predict consumer behaviour throughout the entire credit lifecycle. Behaviour scoring is a key element in the customer management process, making this project key in the successful implementation of risk management strategies. These behaviour scorecards will be designed to ensure Standard Bank card division optimises their customer relationships from both a risk and profit perspective."
