PIC Solutions to present at banking conference

PIC Solutions will present at a banking conference centred on new trends in African banking customer strategy.

The Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) will be the focal meeting point for financial industry heavyweights for a panel of top South African and international banking strategists, to discuss critical issues on new trends in banking.

The conference is aimed at industry leaders that are influential in the creation of banking strategy and delivery of banking industry services. The conference will question outdated banking industry norms and shed light onto the path forward for the industry.

The opening keynote speaker is Joe DiVanna, Managing Director of Maris Strategies Limited, a research think-tank for government agencies and multinational corporations, to name but a few. DiVanna is a well-known global public speaker whose avant-garde approach to solving global business challenges inspires others to seek solutions that are more creative.

Nick Geimer, Head of Consulting and Analytics, will present on Lending to the Masses: Developing the Five Tools Required to Reach the 'Bottom of the Pyramid'.

Managing Director of PIC Solutions, Stephen J Leonard, will be a panellist on the discussion: Banking's role in providing financial social cohesion.

Professor Nick Binedell, Director of GIBS, will host a session on strategy in which he will aim the spotlight on the attitude required for South African businesses to compete in the global arena.

Held at the Gordon Institute of Business Science's facilities in Illovo, Johannesburg, the conference will take place on 11 October. This is a rare opportunity for a select group to meet and speak their mind about where the banking industry is heading, and will aid the banking fraternity in evaluating the relevance of their strategies in today's banking market.
