Pink Elephant (www.pinkelephant.com) today announced a global first in the delivery of the highly anticipated ITIL Version 3 Foundations Course.
The course, based on the revised ITIL syllabus released as a result of the Office of Government Commerce's (OGC) refresh project, was delivered to a group of over 50 Pink Elephant consultants and lecturers from all of its operating regions worldwide in preparation for the release of the ITIL publications on 30 May 2007.
"In keeping with our aim to lead the way in our chosen industry, we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to bring our teams together to ensure that we maintain the consistency and quality of delivery in the ITIL field as expected by our customers," says Neil Petford, Regional Director for Pink Elephant.
"We look forward to offering our knowledge on how organisations can benefit from the IT service management life cycle approach as outlined in the revised version of the framework."
The course was delivered by George Spalding and Gary Case, the Pink Elephant executive consultants chosen to author the Continual Service Improvement publication within the new five book series
"Having been involved in the ITIL project since its inception in the late 1980s, we were extremely proud to have been selected to help steer its future development," says David Ratcliffe, Pink Elephant President.
"This week's activity allows us the confidence to maintain that leadership position in the field as we roll-out a range of Version 3 courses and consulting services for our customers around the world."
Pink Elephant will follow up the event with an initial delivery of the course on 30 May 2007, as well as free introductory overviews for IT service management practitioners on 30 and 31 May 2007.
