Following an independent verification exercise by the National Empowerment Rating Agency, Pink Elephant today announced that the company's BBBEE rating has increased, once again, to be recognised as a Level 2 contributor.
Neil Petford, Regional Director, said: “This is a further acknowledgement of our sustained approach to improving our BBBEE credentials over the years, the benefits of which are being experienced by our staff through training and development, as well, of course, by our customers in that they are now able to claim 125% of their spend with us on their own scorecards.”
The company achieved the Level 2 accreditation with a focus on employment equity, skills development, socio-economic development - all of which received the maximum score available - and preferential procurement.
“Pink remains committed to sincere empowerment where it makes a difference and we look forward to developing our BBBEE base as we move into our next phase of growth and the generic scorecard arena.”
