IT service management education and consulting provider Pink Elephant has expanded into the EMEA region, opening an office in Johannesburg.
The company, headquartered in Toronto, Canada, says the move comes amid a growing need for best practice strategies among public and private sector IT professionals in SA.
Pink Elephant will offer its full suite of services, including Best Practice Education and the PinkScan Maturity Assessment, backed by best practice consultants.
Central to Pink Elephant`s service lines is the Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), which is considered the standard framework for IT service management best practices.
Alan McCarthy, regional director for Pink Elephant EMEA, says the company`s entry into SA brings to the market a single, vendor-independent supplier of ITIL services.
The company plans to operate on a small scale initially, allowing the market to drive its growth.
