Local distribution house, Pinnacle Micro, has announced the availability of Canon's LaserShot LBP3300 - a space-saving, simple to use laser printer.
The LBP3300's 21 pages per minute print speed ensures that delays usually experienced are avoided, and a standard built-in duplex unit provides automatic double-sided printing at the touch of a button.
"Canon's on-demand fixing technology virtually eliminates warm-up time and waiting," says Cobus Erasmus, Canon brand manager at Pinnacle Micro. "The first print comes out in nine seconds or less, a definite relief for the time-conscious."
Canon's advanced printing technology and smart compression architecture provides high processing speeds, complete with high levels of control over all printer settings, using a simple graphical interface.
The 600x600dpi print resolution delivers professional laser quality output, and this is enhanced to the equivalent of 2400x600dpi using Canon's automatic image refinement technology.
Erasmus says users can share the LBP3300's print resources throughout the office with Canon's optional Network Board NB-C1. The board is easy to set up, it enhances printing productivity across the office, and the printer has high-speed USB 2.0 connectivity which speeds up image processing communication between the PC and the printer.
"The LBP330 was designed with the small office environment in mind," says Erasmus. "It is a stylish, quiet, space-saving printer designed for full-frontal operation.
"Fitting easily into the tightest spaces it enables hassle-free cartridge and paper replacement from the front."
