Plantronics, the world`s leading provider of lightweight communication headsets, today announced the launch of the stylish C65 wireless headset. The C65 is designed for use in the small to medium enterprise (SME) and small office, home office (SOHO) markets in conjunction with existing DECT cordless telephones.
C65 users simply need to register the headset with their existing GAP DECT telephones which will then allow them the freedom to move up to 100 metres away from their desk/telephone base, while still being able to make and receive telephone calls. The C65 is a fully wireless solution that combines excellent sound quality with a small, discreet and lightweight headset.
With a choice of three wearing styles - a headband, Plantronics` unique behind-the-head neckband or with a simple earloop - the C65 can be worn comfortably throughout the day. Stylish and discreet, the C65 has up to nine hours talk time and weighs less than 28 grams. It also includes a noise-cancelling microphone that delivers crisp and clear conversation by minimising the background noise - making it ideal for both home and office environments.
Garth de Haan, representative for Plantronics South Africa, says: "Our research indicates that workers are increasingly looking for products that give them the freedom to move around the office and being able to make and take calls. The C65 is totally wireless, extremely easy to use and very stylish. We are confident that it will become an essential accessory to provide hands-free convenience to all DECT telephone users."
The C65 is supplied with its own fast charger, which also acts as a handy storage unit when the headset is not in use. Automatically detecting when the user is out of the range of the base unit, the C65 will sound a warning beep in the headset. Should users move out of the base unit`s range, the call will be placed on hold until the user returns within range.
