Johannesburg, 13 Mar 2003

Plantronics, a world leader in lightweight communications headsets, recently swept the `Best Headset` category in ContactCenterWorld.com`s Annual Members` Choice Awards.

Plantronics was the winner in the overall Global `Best Headset` category, as well as in each of the four regional categories:

* Best Global
* Best in the US
* Best in the EMEA
* Best In APAC
* Best in Americas

The awards were designed to recognise excellence in the contact centre industry. Contact centre customers throughout the world acted as the judges by voting for their favourite company, product or service on the ContactCenterWorld.com`s Web site. There were 65 companies listed in 20 categories. Winners were announced during a live Webcast on ContactCenterWorld.com`s Web site.

"We`re extremely pleased that our customers have voted Plantronics as the world`s best headset," said Ken Kannappan, president and CEO of Plantronics. "All of us at Plantronics are highly focused on serving our customers, so it`s particularly gratifying to receive this recognition from the people who use our products everyday."

Launched in the summer of 2002, the Members` Choice Awards are an independent awards programme where users vote for their favourite solution providers on a national, regional and global basis. Each award is based on the quantity of votes received.
