PlatformOne extends contract
PlatformOne has extended its contract with IBM for technology hosting services, according to eMediaWire.
PlatformOne offers HR business processing outsourcing (BPO) solutions that include HR Technology Infrastructure, HR Administrative Services, and HR Professional Support to mid-market companies.
PlatformOne manages all the HR information systems and technology infrastructure of its clients as a key part of its services.
Cadbury Schweppes chooses Northgate
Northgate Information Solutions` has been selected by Cadbury Schweppes to deliver HR systems and related services for its confectionery business, according to BusinessWire.
The deal is one of the largest in ARINSO`s history, and implementation will be across five continents in 68 countries where Cadbury Schweppes operates.
The seven-year partnership will use ARINSO`s euHReka technology to create a single SAP-based HR services platform. The platform will be completed in early 2010 and will become the core Cadbury Schweppes global HR system.
Topaz introduces multi-job functionality
Topaz will introduce a multi-job functionality and supplementary pay run processing at Softworld as part of the latest improvement to the integrated Topaz EMS HR and Payroll modules, reports PayperShop.
Enhanced Topaz EMS (employee management system) will now record multiple jobs against each employee, as well as holding separate instances of each job within each employee.
This will ensure all relevant information, such as earnings deductions, pensions and national insurance category can be recorded and maintained for each job.
