Insys recently implemented Platinum ERA, the full financial application suite from Epicor Software, for RentWorks, the equipment rental specialists. The system, which went "live" in October 1999, underscores the solid relationship that exists between RentWorks and Insys, and has enabled Insys to utilise RentWorks` unique financial expertise in structuring rental deals for clients.
The new MS SQL-based Platinum ERA 7.0 system that was installed within budget, replaces a Pastel system. The Platinum implementation has equipped the financial service provider with the critical capability of managing debtors, creditors and cash flow efficiently, by establishing best practices and a technologically advanced data mining capability. Platinum Financials caters for multi-currency and multi-company requirements, as well as, the sophisticated operational requirements of RentWorks.
