Plessey names new CEO

Zellah Fuphe has been appointed CEO of Plessey SA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dimension .

According to a statement, Fuphe joins Plessey from Worldwide African Investment Holdings, where she served as MD for the past four years.

"I am pleased to join Plessey at this important stage of its growth. The deregulation and liberalisation of the South African telecommunications industry is an exciting time which offers significant opportunities for the company," says Fuphe.

She holds directorships on the boards of Engen, Oceana, Worldwide African Investment Holdings and the Graduate School of Business Leadership, Unisa, and has also been a Plessey board member for the past four years.
