Plimus intros business support services

Plimus, a hosted e-business solution for online sales processing, has introduced the Plimus Round Table support programme, writes PRWeb.

The programme builds on Plimus' business partnership philosophy to provide custom, personalised business services to support and increase bottom line sales.

"At Plimus we have a simple business model. We make money when our vendors make money,” says Mark Hassin, director of client relations and manager of the Plimus Round Table programme.

LinkDotNet highlights online media potential

LinkDotNet, an Internet service provider in the Middle East, has hosted a session on the future of online advertising in the region at the Microsoft Advertising Summit in Dubai, states AME Info.

The potential, highlighted in the Middle East Broadband forecast to 2010 report, shows a projected high demand for ICT products in the Middle East.

"It's needless to say that the interactive element of those portals, along with their network and ability to target multiple audiences and their ability to measure the impact of an online campaign, make them of critical importance to all marketers," says Mohamed ElSayad, GM of MSN Arabia.

Yellow Pages company sees future online

Sensis chief executive Bruce Akhurst will outline the directories company's future at a business luncheon in Sydney today, according to The Australian.

The boss of Telstra's directories arm, which publishes the Yellow and White Pages, says Sensis has moved to counter attacks from US-based Internet firms such as Google, Yahoo and Microsoft, which for years have plundered its core revenues.

The big Internet companies have developed better Internet-based local search capabilities, outpacing Sensis in its business of selling advertising and directories. But Akhurst says the tide is starting to turn, noting a successful $300 million IT transformation and new products and services have allowed Sensis to diversify its business into the booming world of online media.
