PM Tech Holdings, the networking, consulting and Oracle specialist, has been appointed as a reseller of Data System Developments` (DSD) CMS Export 2000 software.
Locally developed, CMS Export 2000 software facilitates the automation of a user`s export documentation process and is targeted at companies that are active in this arena.
Says Barry Smith, director of DSD: "The setting up of export-specific documentation is a laborious process, but our software is able to generate the necessary local and international documentation accurately in a bid to increase productivity and efficiency for companies involved in this activity."
The documentation produced by the system includes: Proforma invoices, Commercial invoices, F178, DA 550, CCA1, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin and Insurance certificates.
The software can be customised to interface with most enterprise systems and accounting packages.
Export 2000, in addition to generating customs and other export documentation, can be used to generate reports, costing statements and shipment profits. It also performs foreign exchange calculations.
Mike Leeuwen, a director of PM Tech, says the Export 2000 software caters for a market niche. "We have a number of exporters on our customer list and we feel that DSD`s product will meet their specific needs.
"A key benefit is cost. Being locally developed, the software is marketed significantly below the price of imported products," he adds.
