PM Tech Holdings and Ikwezi IT (a Matomo Group company) have announced a partnership, which will see the companies promoting and deploying managed services and solutions to the local and African marketplaces.
This partnership builds on the companies` longstanding relationship and entails PM Tech`s enterprise monitoring and management software division, PM Ora Software and the recently established Ikwezi Managed Services division working closely together.
The companies will primarily focus on the local public services sector as well as other niche areas such as the medium enterprise market.
"The products and service that PM Ora Software offers fit in strategically with our new managed services division," says Wayne England, sales and marketing director of Ikwezi IT.
He also adds that the partnership is a "nice fit" as Ikwezi is a BEE and PM Tech is a Proudly South African company.
One of the key benefits of the agreement is that the companies can offer services and solutions that are rand-based as opposed to more costly options from international vendors.
"This is a strategic alliance," says Peter Bruggeman, director at PM Tech Holdings. "We will be working on a deal by deal basis with the new Ikwezi Managed Service division, leveraging our combined strengths to offer a high level of services, skills and solutions to companies."
Ikwezi will also further strengthen PM Tech`s position in the rest of Africa, which is a significant focus area for the company.
PM Ora Software and Ikwezi Managed Services are currently working on a number of opportunities in both the public and private sector.
