PMI joins Soundview programme

Soundview Executive Book Summaries announced the Project Management Institute (PMI), a global not-for-profit advocacy association for the project management profession, has joined Soundview`s Association Alliance Programme.

Youth in Rwanda`s Eastern Province last week received training in project management skills from the two-day seminar organised by Rural Micro Project Enterprise (PPMER) working under the Ministry of Commerce, reports allAfrica.com.

The two-day workshop attended by the members of youth councils in all districts in the province was held at Ngoma District council hall and prepared by the Eastern Province, in collaboration with the PPMER.

The provincial projects co-ordinator, Immaculate Twagiramaliya, said the core objective of the workshop was to sensitise youth associations to group themselves into co-operatives as one of the ways to acquire loans for income-generating activities.
