Leaders in labelling, coding and printing solutions, ProScan Media Products (PMP) has extended their in-line coding and labelling solutions offering with the introduction of a range of label applicators from Collamat, world leaders in labelling and marking solutions.
With a history producing labelling machines since 1958, and a strong reputation for reliability and precision, PMP as the premier distribution partner will bring the Collamat range to South African shores. The range is suitable for high-speed label applications in the pharmaceutical, food and beverage and household chemistry industries meeting their marking and labelling requirements.
PMP currently supplies a comprehensive range of inkjet printers and print 'n apply applicators from United Barcode Systems (UBS). The Collamat range will complement these products and extend the PMP offering into high-speed conveyor belt labelling applications, positioning PMP as the specialists in labelling solutions for southern Africa.
The Collamat range distributed through PMP will include six traditional label applicators, which are characterised by their compact and durable design, versatility and high labelling speeds of up to 250m/min.
PMP will also offer the new Collamat 8000 Cross Web, an advanced industry label dispenser and vacuum chamber, which has the capacity to apply a row of labels at a time, increasing productivity by combining packaging and labelling in one operation.
Roland Pinz, Managing Director of ProScan Media Products, said: “Collamat products are defined by excellence with reputation for Swiss quality and reliability.
The Collamat range was launched by PMP at the Propak Africa 2009 show, held recently in Johannesburg.
