The AcerPD321 projector is smaller than half of an A4-sized paper, weighs about 1kg and fits inside a briefcase with plenty of room to spare. This makes it ideal for users to carry along in their hand luggage on business trips.
"The PD321 projects wall-sized images, multimedia and text in crisp details, rich colours and well-defined borders with ease. Visual output can be displayed with a maximum resolution of 1 280 x 1 024 pixels, with up to 16.7 million colours and with a contrast ratio of 2 000:1," says Gary De Menezes, commercial director at Acer.
Compatible with PCs and Macintosh computers, the PD321 displays output with aspect ratios of 4:3 or 16:9. It also comes with a remote controller, a carrying case and other accessories.
The adoption of a Carl Zeiss lens ensures vivid display performance and with native XGA resolution support and the option to display content from various external sources with the impressive PiP technology, the PD321 is ideal for cross-referencing and analysing data from different sources. The start up display can be customised with logos and text to add a personal touch to any presentation.
"This silver magnesium unit is ideal for business executives who need access to the latest mobile technology without compromising on performance and image quality. We are confident the PD321 will be very well received in the South African marketplace," De Menezes concludes.
