Compaq today announced immediate availability in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region (EMEA) of its brightest microprojector yet, the Compaq iPAQ MP4800. It delivers more than 2 000 ANSI Lumens of brightness and weighs only 2.6kg. Used either as a tabletop projector or mounted to a conference room ceiling, the iPAQ MP4800 is the ideal projector to accompany boardroom presentations.

The iPAQ MP4800 provides a significant increase in brightness with 2 000 ANSI Lumens, in comparison with a typical microprojector`s light output that ranges between 700 and 1 300.
It features Digital Light Processing (DLP) to deliver bright, crisp XGA-resolution (1024 X 768) images and an 800:1 contrast ratio. In addition, the iPAQ MP4800 includes integrated video, stereo sound and High-Definition TV support for users needing to incorporate multimedia into their presentations.
The iPAQ MP4800 operates at less than 36 decibels and its Lamp-Saver mode can extend bulb life up to 50 percent and still deliver up to 1600 Lumens of brightness.
In Europe, Middle East and Africa, the iPAQ MP4800 is backed by a three-year warranty.
