Artec Computer Systems today announced that Primegro Properties has outsourced its technical networking requirements to Artec Computer Systems.
Primegro is one of the largest property loan stock companies listed on the JSE and has a portfolio valued in excess of R2.4 billion, a large portion of which is made up of major, prime quality regional shopping centres.
"Since Artec specialises in the areas of networking and outsourcing, and have shown themselves capable of working with us in these areas," commented Stuart Snowball, Chief Financial Officer at Primegro, "it is natural and more economically sound that we should now outsource these parts of our operations to Artec.
"The rapid growth of Primegro since listing in November 1999 and in particular the acquisition of the prime Richway portfolio in January this year for over R1 billion, has led to a tremendous growth in users on our local and wide area network. We are happy to have specialists able to service our IT requirements both on-site and countrywide, and allow us to concentrate on running our business."
