As part of Oki`s technology refresh across its entire range of laser printer offerings, Printacom - local brand representative for the Oki brand - has announced the addition of two new models to its SMB and SOHO focused portfolio, aimed at driving costs down and increasing functionality and performance.
Neil Rom, managing director of Printacom, says the impetus for Oki`s release of the two new printer models, namely the C3200 and C3200n, comes from the massive success the company has achieved with its C3100 range over the past year.
"The C3200 and C3200n take all of the benefits offered by their predecessors and up the ante by offering increases in performance to the tune of 12 pages per minute in colour and 20 pages per minute in monochrome.
"The big news on these new models, however, is the inclusion of Oki`s Photo Enhance feature, which now makes it possible for users to print high quality images on ordinary office paper," Rom says. "This tool not only searches documents for images, but boosts the images, ensuring a crisp and clear output."
Backed by this new utility and performance level, SMBs and SOHO customers now also benefit from networking functionality, with the 3200n`s built-in Ethernet port allowing for cost-effective printer sharing within a small work team.
"And if that is not enough to convince customers of the value a C3200n brings to their organisation, an automatic duplex option allows for double-sided printing to produce professional-looking booklets," Rom says.
"Oki has also done its bit to lower TCO on the C3000 range with the availability of high capacity toners that deliver low running costs in mono and colour, and the availability of smaller toner cartridges at a lower purchase price," Rom continues.
"The C3000 Series also exhibits all of the core values you would expect from Oki Printing Solutions summed up in the phrase we`ve been touting for the past two years, namely `Chromability - in-house colour made easy`."
As with the other laser printers in the Oki range, features include Oki`s Template Manager software, allowing users to create various professional-looking business documents that range from business cards to banners. Online support is provided through a link to a dedicated Web site. Users simply click on the `Ask Oki` tab inside the provided printer driver," Rom continues.
"As per its usual modus operandi, Oki has recognised the upcoming trends in the market and responded with products and solutions that not only address the needs of customers today, but offer features, functionality and performance that are streets ahead of the competition. With these two new additions to the C3000 range, Oki continues to offer amazing flexibility, speed and quality to the desktop and small workgroup network," Rom concludes.
