Printacom Technologies refreshes OKI South Africa Web site, drives improved communication with resellers

The company also sports a new corporate identity and a recently-launched channel programme, says Martin Venter, general manager at Printacom Technologies.

As part of its commitment to participating in the sales and marketing campaigns of its resellers, Printacom Technologies has introduced a refreshed Web site to facilitate improved communication. Together with a new corporate identity and a recently-launched channel programme, this measure reflects the company's reinvigorated drive to make OKI the preferred alternative for high-performance printing in business.

That's according to Martin Venter, general manager at Printacom Technologies, the sole South African importer of OKI Products, machines renowned for their innovative 'single pass' technology.

“Effective communication of the value proposition associated with OKI printers is the key to achieving improved sales for our resellers,” he says. These value propositions include a unique three-year on-site warranty, which attests to the reliability of OKI machines, some of the fastest page-per-minute production of high-quality laser colour prints, and low cost-per-page. “These attributes are one thing; telling the market about them is another,” Venter notes.

While OKI has occupied something of a niche market, Printacom believes the OKI machines are ready to tackle the broader market. “After all, what South African business doesn't want reliability, low cost and high quality from its print environment?” Venter asks.

The new Web site, he continues, operates in conjunction with the OKI Connected Partner Programme, supporting resellers by providing easy access to marketing materials and other resources. “The Internet has become a standard resource for quickly disseminating relevant content. Through our site, we are providing access to complete information on all products and solutions for any member of the public.”

Additionally, resellers are provided with a personalised login from which sales and marketing tools can be accessed. Data such as specification sheets, high-resolution images, marketing templates and other information can be accessed, providing the necessary elements for the compilation of quality marketing collateral with minimal complication or hassle.

“We've invested time and effort to create a site which is easy to navigate and easy to use for the public and for resellers alike. It's just one more element within the broader strategy which Printacom is executing to make OKI a household name,” Venter concludes.
