VSI-FAX 4.1 has the ability to fax from Unix, email and (IE) Internet Explorer (4.0 or higher) and Windows. Leuner explains that VSI-FAX can easily be integrated into a Unix environment and will nit require the retraining of users.
VSI-FAX 4.1 offers support for Windows 2000 and Linux. In addition it has Unix imaging support for Windows documents. VSI-FAX 4.1 has improved Linux support for Red Hat 6.0 and 6.2 and the Caldera System 2.2 and 2.4.
In addition, VSI-FAX 4.1 has the added ability to fax from StarOffice and WordPerfect Office for Linux.
VSI-FAX`s Universal Fax Client - provides users with the ability to send, receive, obtain status and manage faxes from most Java enabled platforms.
Enhanced VSI Outlook Fax Client - provides users with the ability to edit and save user profiles. Users can print to fax, attach files to faxes and send to both email and fax recipients with a single click of the mouse.
Users can now intuitively manage all fax communications directly from outlook.
VSI Web Fax Client - is a browser-based client that enables users to send and receive faxes via Microsoft (IE).
The VSI Web Fax Client offers support for both public and private directories, Print to Fax from any application, as well as support for local and server-side file attachments.
