Prisma, a leader in XML-based eBusiness automation solutions, said that Cardiff is shipping TELEform v7.1 with Windows 2000 and Pervasive 2000i Certification.
TELEform is one of the worlds leading products for automated processing of paper forms and documents. The product is currently used by more than 20, 000 organisations globally. Hugo Leuner, MD, Prisma Solutions deems that TELEform still needs to be propagated in Southern Africa as organisations still don`t realise the cost linked to manual data entry. Leuner states that TELEform has the ability to reduce costs concurred by manual data entry by at least 90 percent. In addition TELEform is an important component for database, document management and Web-based content management systems.
TELEform v7.1 includes the following new capabilities:
. Cardiff Certified - Microsoft Windows 2000
. Expanded OS Database support with Pervasive 2000i
. Adobe Acrobat 5.0 form filling support
. Enhanced scheduling for automatic purges and batch commits
. Enhanced batch handling flexibility
. Addition of "smart text" feature
. New batch discard BasicScript entry point
. Support for more than 65,000 traditional form IDs for a single system
. Support for 26-inch by 26-inch forms
. Revised and expanded documentation
Cardiff also introduced a new add-on product for TELEform - the Distributed Verification Module. This new product enables TELEform Enterprise v7.1 to be used with a Citrix MetaFrame environment, supporting remote, at-home and overseas verification operators without sacrificing features or performance.
TELEform v7.1 is available immediately from Prisma Solutions. Customers who have support and maintenance agreements will receive the update automatically. In addition, all versions of TELEform can be extended with the addition of the HTML + Forms, PDF + Froms, AutoMerge Publisher, and Cardiff`s new Distributed Verification Module add-on products.
