Prisma Solutions has consolidated its position in the fax server software market with the launch of two new products: Zetafax 7.5 and Zetafax for Exchange 2000.
Zetafax 7.5 is an upgrade of Prisma`s network fax software application and offers full support of the latest Microsoft releases - Windows XP Professional and Office XP.
Zetafax allows users to prepare and send fax documents in the software application of their choice. Multiple documents can be sent as one fax and faxes can be sent simultaneously to multiple recipients. Zetafax for Exchange 2000 has been developed to integrate with Microsoft`s advanced e-mail platform.
Exchange 2000 includes features such as customised Outlook forms to send and receive faxes, the ability to store and retrieve names and fax numbers from the e-mail address book or Outlook contacts folder, delayed send or priority send options and a variety of preview and view options. Zetafax user options can be set from within the Exchange 2000 user configuration, and administrators can globally enforce user options such as coversheets and letterheads.
Prisma Solutions MD Hugo Leuner comments that the new software packages give employees the convenience of composing faxes from the latest Microsoft product releases and sending them directly from the desktop. "Users can also benefit from managing all their messages - be they fax or e-mail - from one interface," he says.
