ProScan announced the release of the Universal Serial Bus (USB) Interface options for the Datamax I & W class thermal printers.
ProScan is a Value Added Distributor for Datamax products in Southern Africa.
Andrew Fosbrook, Managing Director of ProScan comments, "The USB option was designed by Datamax to address the market demand for versatile connectivity and improved transfer rates by providing a seamless, high-speed communications solution for customers printing from a Windows environment. As a result, the USB interface will slash label format downloading time with transfer rates of 12 megabits per second - almost ten times the speed of a standard parallel interface."
ProScan distributes the Datamax range of direct thermal and thermal transfer printers for labels, tags and tickets.
