Established in 1981, O'Neil is a world-leading manufacturer of rugged portable printers and related media consumables sold under the O'Neil brand to OEM partners throughout the world.
O'Neil Product Development recently joined forces with Datamax, following an acquisition by the Dover Corporation. ProScan is also the premier distributor in southern Africa for the global brand of Datamax bar code and RFID printers.

Each O'Neil printer faces a rigorous process of testing, to ensure the integrity of the engineering and design processes under extreme real-world conditions. Printers are subjected to multiple 180cm drops onto concrete on every face of the printer throughout the widest range of temperature extremes, as well as other environmental hazards, such as humidity and dust.
The O'Neil range includes integrated printing systems that combine O'Neil printers with mobile computers to provide total integration and portability for users in route accounting, direct store delivery, and other field mobile applications.
The O'Neil range of compact portable thermal printers provides receipts and labels for point-of-sale and on-demand transaction activities. Features include wireless local area network or wireless personal area networking capabilities for high print quality, flash memory, intelligent power management, and font and language adaptability.
