ProScan expands inkjet printing range with Matthews

ProScan Media Products (PMP), a leading provider of labelling, coding and marking solutions to the southern African market, expands its line of inline inkjet printers following the appointment as distributors for Matthews Marking Products.

The Matthews range of inkjet printers addresses the various challenges present in the industrial printing environment, with drop-on-demand printers, continuous inkjet (CIJ) printers and high resolution printers.

Drop-on-demand printers are based on a rugged inkjet technology that utilises a variety of inks, allowing for flexibility and high resolution printing and marking across varied surface sizes and textures. Using a limited range of inks, the continuous inkjet printers excel in making small well-defined marks, working at very high speeds and resulting in high quality printing.

Matthews' high resolution inkjet printers are suitable for printing bar codes, graphics and text onto primary and secondary packaging. Features include optimum print resolution, high-speed and large or small mark sizes.

The Matthews line of inkjet printers offer a range of solutions to challenging applications, from security and anti-counterfeit marking in pharmaceutical and cosmetic sectors, to bar coding packaged products, paper rolls, and shipping cartons.

PMP currently distributes a range of inkjet printers for high resolution, large character marking and coding of primary and secondary packages, as well as porous and non-porous surfaces.
