Ideal for retail applications such as inventory management, order entry, price verification, gift registry and competitive price shopping, the CK1 is also designed for applications such as parcel pickup and delivery, light industrial, and medical/pharmaceutical tracking systems. Powerful yet affordable, the CK1 offers a large display for easy viewing and the choice of an integrated laser barcode scanner or highly responsive linear imager.
The CK1 is available worldwide, allowing national and international enterprises that prefer batch data collection to standardise on a single powerful, efficient and affordable handheld computer.
The CK1 provides users with features and functionality found in much larger and more expensive terminals.
Powered by an ARM 7, 67-MHz processor, the CK1 has 16MB DRAM and 9MB Flash memory to support large look-up tables and data storage. Its small size allows for easy single-handed operation, and an optional removable pistol grip handle is available for scan-intensive applications.

The combination of the Linux operating system and Linux programming tools provides end-user applications with multi-tasking capabilities. The CK1 includes pre-written programmes for various applications, as well as an optional Windows-based rapid application development tool that requires no programming experience.
