QlikTech, has announced the immediate availability of QlikView for iPhone, the first truly interactive mobile BI app built specifically for the iPhone, reports Microwire.Info.

According to the company, unlike Oracle's mobile BI offering that features a rigid interface and limited functionality, QlikView for iPhone fully leverages iPhone's multitouch and GPS features to deliver QlikView's renowned, industry-defining interactive capabilities.

The result is a groundbreaking app that puts the power of sophisticated, real-time business answers in the hands of mobile users worldwide.

Openwave unveils Mobile Analytics 7.0

Openwave has unveiled Mobile Analytics 7.0 for organisations that want to monitor their information from remote locations, which works through the use of management functions, states Experian QAS.

The analytic solution has been designed to accommodate the growing levels of traffic in the international marketplace and will be available for businesses to purchase in the third quarter of 2009.

Sean MacNeill, vice-president of global services and support at Openwave, suggested that this application would enable firms to deliver targeted content to their users.
