Angela Boyd, vice president, worldwide peripherals research at International Data Corporation, notes: "More and more US businesses are appreciating the value of colour and by 2002, slightly more than half of all colour printers will go to non-residential businesses.
"QMS Minolta is defining a new space in the rapidly growing small business market with its magicolor 2 DeskLaser family. It offers industry-leading prices for great and durable print quality, network performance, and a very affordable cost of ownership. Evident throughout their set-up and operation, the DeskLasers are as easy to use as they are to afford. The printers use high-capacity, QuickChange toner cartridges that are colour-coded and simply slide into place. They are "Plug and Play" compatible with Windows 95/98, and ship with enhanced printer drivers that feature Automatic Colour Optimisation, removing any guesswork involved in getting excellent colour output.
