QNAP unveils NAS products
QNAP has unveiled a series of next-generation iSCSI network-attached storage (NAS) products based on Intel architecture to deliver performance and enterprise-grade features for 2009, reports HarTware.
The new Turbo NAS family consists of four-bay, five-bay, six-bay, and eight-bay models, which are well suited for small and medium-sized businesses and enterprises.
The all-in-one feature is designed for businesses that require storage solutions of performance, features, capacity, and manageability.
BigFix positioned in visionaries quadrant
BigFix, a high-performance enterprise systems and security management solutions company, has been positioned in the visionaries quadrant in Gartner's 2008 PC Life Cycle Configuration Management Magic Quadrant report, according to Market Watch.
The Magic Quadrant is Gartner's view of vendors within a particular market for a specific time period. Each vendor is evaluated using a set of criteria to determine their position on the quadrant.
"The severity of the current economic downturn compels organisations to re-invent their business models - and the IT infrastructures that support them - at a velocity that no one could've imagined," said Dave Robbins, president and CEO of BigFix.
Architecture job-board redesigned
IT Architect Jobs, the multinational job-board entirely dedicated to enterprise and IT architecture, has unveiled it's newly redesigned US, UK and European Web sites, according to 24-7 Press Release.
The visually improved sites have a number of new features that have been designed to enhance the customer experience of both business and technology users.
