Qorus Software, a Microsoft Gold Partner (Application Development) and innovative provider of document automation solutions, hosted a business process automation seminar together with Microsoft and Mint Management Technologies on 5 November at the Microsoft offices in Bryanston, Johannesburg.
The event focused on the opportunities and significant improvements that dynamic software solutions such as Microsoft SharePoint, K2 and Qorus can provide to businesses looking to improve their operational efficiencies.
It was attended by a range of technical business analysts, project managers and IT professionals who engaged with one another on the ways that business process automation tools can drastically improve performance.
Akesh Lalla, Office 365 Global Solution Specialist, opened the event with a brief introduction and was followed by Lee Child, Chief Business Development Officer, and David Clothier, Global Pre-Sales Architect, of Qorus Software, who presented on "Building Document Automation Processes in SharePoint". Mint's Business Development Lead, Sean van der Westhuizen, built on this by showing how Qorus Software allows the HR manager to spend more time with his/her employees by reducing the effort and cost that contracts and business letters can create within the HR department.
The interactive seminar allowed delegates the opportunity to ask questions, discuss used cases and share their experiences before closing with drinks and the opportunity for attendees to network with one another.
"We are pleased with the success of the event and the feedback we received from those who attended. We look forward to hosting more seminars such as this in the future as there is a great need for discussion around the fast growing trends in the business arena," stated Child.
