QPR ScoreCard supports Bank Indonesia to improve performance and strategic focus

Bank Indonesia, the central bank of Republic of Indonesia, is implementing its Performance Management System with QPR ScoreCard. As a central bank, the Bank Indonesia achieves and maintains the stability of the Indonesian Rupiah by maintaining monetary stability and by promoting financial system stability for Indonesia`s long term sustainable development. The strategic targets of Bank Indonesia, in particular related to the effectiveness, efficiency, transparency and in May 9, 2003, The Governor of Bank Indonesia, Dr. Syahril Sabirin, states: "The institutionally sound and accountable organization - in the framework of good governance - represents an effort to improve accountability in performance of tasks through the establishment of the planning, budgeting, and performance management system and the commitment of all unit heads to undergo appraisal and evaluation under a performance indicator system", and further explains that within this Performance Management System based on QPR ScoreCard, Bank Indonesia had developed four measurement perspectives, representing the perspectives of stakeholders, finance, organizational and systems development (internal processes), and human resources development (HRD).

The Performance Management System is for measuring and monitoring performance and performing evaluation with results set out in a Balanced Scorecard.
