"Because of our success with our existing customers like Standard Bank, SAA, Nike, J&J, KZN Provincial Government, City of Tshwane, Municipality of Msunduzi, Khula and other African organisations, it is clear that there is a genuine need for QPR Solutions in Africa.
"QPR thus made a strategic decision to invest in a subsidiary to better support our customers and partners in Africa," says Matti Kanninen, CEO of QPR Software.
QPR Software solutions are unique due to the flexibility of the product suite. "As we are a Finnish company, and technology is the most important export sector in Finland, the technology in QPR is world-class. The future business forecast for Africa is very positive, and as such, now is the correct time to start the investment into this continent in order to take market share in selected segments. "There is a very good demand for QPR products, QPR ScoreCard, QPR ProcessGuide, QPR FactView and QPR WorkFlow in South Africa, and growing demand in some selected countries in Africa.
"Our strategy is to partner with leading management consulting companies in Africa in order to deliver automated solutions to all organisations aiming to improve their processes and performance," continues Jari Jaakkola, SVP, QPR Software.
QPR products were built to integrate to the various other systems such as business intelligence (BI), enterprise resource planning (ERP), accounting, budgeting and other legacy-type systems that organisations might have implemented.
