QuickArrow provides bi-directional integration
Texas-based software vendor, QuickArrow, has updated its professional services automation (PSA) solution, according to a press release.
This latest version enables users to achieve integration and real-time visibility into project information for improved resource management and reporting accuracy across the enterprise.
It features QuickArrow`s second-generation Web services application program interface, QuickConnect, which enables bi-directional integrations, with the ability to create, read, update and delete data in either direction. Information on projects, time and expenses, employees, and customers can be imported to or exported from QuickArrow, eliminating manual data entry processes and providing a complete, up-to-date view of project status and associated costs.

PPM software leads to greater success
Project portfolio management (PPM) software, including traditional project management tools, professional services automation solutions and business intelligence offerings, are starting to produce real benefits according to the latest survey from PMP Research.
According to a press release, half of those polled (50%) believe their PPM choices either meet or exceed their requirements. This is in contrast to the findings of the previous year`s survey, when over half (54%) stated such software failed to meet their needs satisfactorily and only a third (36%) felt the software performed as required. The research has been commissioned by the Evaluation Centre.
However, 38% of respondents this time around remain unhappy with the performance of their chosen PPM solutions, particularly if they are trying to control more than one project at a time.
