Quickoffice upgrades iPhone app
Targeting consumers on the go, Quickoffice, a vendor of mobile office productivity software, unveiled an upgrade to its iPhone application, Quickoffice Mobile Office Suite 1.3, reports TMCnet.
The latest feature lets iPhone and iPod Touch users open e-mail attachments within the iPhone application, which lets people view, create, edit and share Microsoft Office files on a device.
In addition, the app offers free updates for the iPhone's office applications including Quicksheet, Quickword and Quickoffice Files.
Ricoh unveils Aficio series
Digital office equipment provider Ricoh Americas has unveiled its Ricoh Aficio SP C820DN and SP C821DN colour laser printer series, an upgrade of the previous Aficio CL7200 and SP C811DN models, says eWeek.
The new printers boast an upgraded engine design based on the CL7200 engine, which the company says produces faster warm-up times and first print times.
Ricoh states its colour laser printers are the ideal solution for graphic-intensive workgroups like marketing departments, print-for-pay vendors, prepress departments and design agencies looking to produce full-colour documents in-house.
Epson intros WiFi printers
Epson has unveiled the WiFi -capable Stylus TX550W series all-in-one printer in the Middle East, states Albawaba.
The new high-speed compact printer supports sharing among multiple users and wireless printing or scanning from several desktops or laptops around the home.
It includes an Ethernet connection for wired networking and is designed for people who want quality, speed and flexibility.
