Quiksilver selects HighJump software
supply chain management software, says Quiksilver has selected its labour management system, writes Fibre2Fashion.
Quiksilver aims to optimise the workforce at their Americas distribution centre in Mira Loma, California, which distributes apparel, footwear and accessories across the Quiksilver, Roxy and DC shoes brands.
HighJump Labour Advantage compiles real-time performance data to enable companies to plan and measure labour activities throughout their distribution facility.
HighJump Labour Advantage objectively measures employee performance and identifies those whose performance consistently exceeds the standard, as well as employees who need assistance.
Global Surf News says Quiksilver selected the HighJump labour management system because of the integration with their HighJump warehouse management system (WMS) and their longstanding relationship with HighJump Software.
Quiksilver has been a HighJump WMS user since 2001. The initial deployment of the labour management system will include performance management for 120 team members working in the high-speed pick modules.
Future projects will rollout the software to all 500 team members in the distribution centre who perform processes such as unloading, receiving, packing, value added services and moving product in and out of a high volume tilt tray sorter.
