"Gallery Page" Technology

By Global Research Partners
Johannesburg, 02 Oct 2000

ASYST International SA, the sole South African distributor for UK-based Access Accounting Ltd, today unveiled new "gallery page" technology, that enables users to easily design and maintain their web sites using dynamic magazine style pages with multiple columns, pictures and graphics.

The new technology comes as a new bundle of software that includes one of the new galleries and 25 standard pages, together with a home page and a response form. The package price R2125 includes the initial one-year licence for the software hosting on the Access Accounts server and e-mail forwarding, with an annual renewal fee of R1062-50. However, the site can also be hosted on other ISPs, if so desired, at a slightly higher cost.

"This standard software now has more functionality than any other standard package in the marketplace," commented Paul Marketos, Managing Director of Asyst International SA. "It sets us completely apart from other low cost web creation software that restricts page layout to simple templates, Marketos added. "Now every customer`s web site is completely unique whilst the costs are kept down because it is developed and maintained in standard software."

Examples of the new gallery style pages can be found on www.accessweb.co.uk and on a demonstration site www.demosite.accessweb.co.uk
