Taxis sign up with Microgen

Radio Taxis, one of the largest taxi companies in London, has signed a three-year contract to its billing function to Microgen, an information and business process management company, says EBPP.

Microgen will provide Radio Taxis with multi-channel billing comprising print, e-billing and online document management, enabling it to realise cost efficiencies and business process improvements as well as furthering its commitment to being environmentally friendly.

Radio Taxis will use the billing solution provided by Microgen to invoice customers as well as provide drivers with their payment statements.

Postal operators switch to e-billing

The trend in stamped mail volume is downward as more European businesses persuade customers to change over to Internet billing, says Hellmail.

According to an Itella Information survey conducted in Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Germany, almost all businesses and organisations intend to make the switch to e-invoicing in the forthcoming years. The only exception is Germany, in which only 65% are considering this.

In Finland, almost 80% of large companies plan on sending the majority of their invoices in electronic format within two to three years. The underlying reason for this is the desire to achieve time and cost savings.

Foley Hoag selects eBillingHub

US firm Foley Hoag has selected the eBillingHub for its electronic billing solutions, reports EBPP.

The eBillingHub hopes to reduce the firm's increasing volume of electronic billing and aims to produce an efficient e-billing process, benefiting both clients and the firm.

Gabriela Isutriz, eBillingHub's chief strategic officer and co-founder, says: "We are thrilled to welcome Foley Hoag to our growing list of clients who understand that law firm electronic billing is more than a workload issue and that hiring more people is not the answer."
